Hub Overview:

Lampu Rangers are experienced participants who support others by addressing issues and enhancing everyone's Lampu experience. Rangers are the frontline team at Lampu, actively patrolling the wilderness, engaging with attendees, and watching for any issues that might arise. We intervene only when necessary, aiming to empower individuals to resolve their own challenges with minimal guidance, and then discreetly retreat when our assistance is no longer required. Our responsibilities include: • Offering guidance and information to both participants and staff • Assisting newcomers in understanding the unique culture of Burning Man • Managing crowd control and maintaining safety perimeters during burns • Providing aid to individuals experiencing emotional distress • Facilitating resolutions in disputes among participants or groups • Assisting emergency personnel with medical and fire incidents • Offering support to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as their fellow campers • Locating missing children • Being the initial responders and coordinating additional help for various situations, from medical emergencies to lost mustache – no matter the issue, we are equipped with the communication tools to seek assistance
